Let's turn this game around!!
If you weren't at the arena tonight you missed an on the edge of your seat game...
It looked like after the first period Minto was going to take the last game of the regular season from the Hornets with 3 unanwsered goals. Then the Mighty Hornets came out of the box flying, with Kyson W finally putting the Hornets on the score board and Roger B getting the assist. It seemed to change the momentem of the game for Howick. There was a surge from the team with two more goals by Daniel P and Kyson W in the second, it was now tied 3 all. Then the nail bitting began...There was a great effort from both teams to score, with Jaden G standing strong between the pipes. With 25 seconds left yes I said 25 seconds left in the game Kyson W went down the ice with his teamates Daniel P and Roger B and he scored. The fans in the arena went nuts and the announcer tried blowing the roof off the arena with the goal horn blowing, it was now 4-3 for the Hornets. Minto tried to get something going but ran out of time. As a fan this win was exciting, as well as a great way to get things rolling for the team as the set their sites on the playoffs. I was very impressed how the team got up and dusted themselves off after being down 3-0 and fought back to turn the game around. It just goes to show, that's why you never give up and play your all right until the end. GO HORNETS GO!!!!
