Walkerton Rolled into Town
Walkerton came in looking for a Win but the Hornets had other plans.
With the stands buzzing with excitement the team flew onto the ice. It was a quick warm up and the game began. It didn't take the Hornets Daniel P long to get them on the scoreboard and then Hornets were rolling. With some great defense from Reese O, Avery H, Mathew W, and Colby T the Walkerton team didn't have many chances of scoring. I did notice some great puck handling from Colby T and Mathew W starting in their own end and taking it to the other end good job. Kyson W scored the second goal for the Hornets as he blazed a trail from one end to the other. Jaden G was on his game rejecting every shot the Capitals fired at him to get the shutout. It was a great way for the team to get things rolling. Keep up the great work.
