The Hornets didn't back down when the Falcons came to town.
It was a great night in the arena for hockey - with the stands buzzing and the music rocking, the kids were pumped and ready to play hockey.
It was a hard battle between both teams with some great scoring chances. It was Daniel P who scored the first goal to get the game rolling. The Falcons answered back with two fast goals. The Hornets put their heads down and dug in. It was Mathew W scoring his first goal of the year - with a great effort starting from his own end and putting it past the Falcon goaltender. Mathew W didn't waste anytime getting his second goal putting the Hornets up 3-2 and it was time for the team to kick it into high gear. Brent H added a goal with Daniel P adding two more for a hatrick. Jaden G was standing strong in net and was making some amazing stops. The defense was great at holding the blue line not allowing the Falcons into the Hornets end - great job Resse O, Kyson W, Avery H, Colby T. We watched some great plays by Kaden B, Kaden H, Jackson F, Roger B. It was great to see the team all working together and giving us a great 6-4 win! Way to go Hornets!!!! Rest up for our next game in Hanover.
