The Mustangs came out flying Monday night and played their best game of the year winning 6-0 over Teeswater. This was our first league win. Sydney Pruden lead the way

with the hat trick and one assist while line mate Carly Kreller scored twice and added 3 assists for a 5 point game. Landis King scored her first goal of the year and a well deserved shut out went to Shelby Foster. Sydney Pruden opened the scoring in the first period as she went hard to the net a rammed home a rebound. Carly Kreller got the assist. A minute later Landis King fired a shot from the point which found the net to get her first goal of the year assisted by Hanna Gerber. With 40 seconds left in the first period Sydney Pruden scored her second of the night on a brake away firing the puck high over the goal tenders glove with assists to Carly and Rachel Mills. Sydney Pruden completed the hat trick on a break away in the second when she blasted home her own rebound after the initial stop. Carly Kreller and Bailey Shiell picked up the assists. With 43 seconds left in the second Carley Kreller broke in all alone and picked the right corner to give the Mustangs a 5 goal lead. Assists went to Rachel Mills. The Mustangs slowed up a bit in the third playing a more defensive period to protect the lead. Carly Kreller scored her second of the night on a break away with assists going to Sydney Pruden and Bailey Shiell."The girls played awesome tonight and deserved this win after playing the last 4-5 games losing by a goal. We have been playing better and our Defense of Landis King, Sarah Gottfried, Madison Jacklin and Rachel Mills having been playing great controlling play in our end and contributing to the offense."
