Fraser Back Stops Hornet Victory
Blake Fraser turned in a strong performance Monday night in a 3-2 Howick win. Hornet defence returned to form as well as they kept the crease free of Stars and pucks which allowed for very few rebound opportunities for Seaforth.

Two minutes and twelve seconds into the game Hussey won an offensive zone faceoff back to Meyer at the point who then feathered a pass over to Dickert who one timed the 8 ounce biscuit behind the Stars keeper.
Exactly two minutes and twelve seconds after that Dickert scored his second goal of the contest on an unassisted effort giving the Hornets a 2-0 lead.
In less then a minute after Seaforth pulled to within a goal, midway through the second period, Kenzie Brooks won a battle for the puck just inside the Hornet blueline and slid it forward to cycling Kuepfer in the neutral zone who then turned on the jets and flew past the Stars defender and fired an answering tally to the Seaforth marker moments earlier.
Even though the Stars scored early in the third frame there was no panic on the bench as a confident Hornet squad stayed composed throughout the period.
Hornet penalty killing, a strength all season long, was called upon late in the game as they successfully killed off a two man deficit.
