Mustangs Fall to Crusaders
Blyth/Brussels up-ends Upper Maitland 6-2 Wednesday as they continue to own the Mustangs on the ice.
Holly Nelson and Brooke Hamilton scored third period goals with helpers going to Hawthorne (2), Mehring and Carson.
The Stangs played a far better final frame in this contest as they worked at gap control and were able to flip defensive zone coverage into fast breaks. They were also willing to compete for pucks with more energy and won more battles because of it.
