Home Opener
Game one has been played and our Pee Wee Hornets came out skating hard and passing the puck!
Twelve players round out our roaster this year. We have Shelby Foster and Brad Reaman sharing goalie duties, Bryson Bennett, Reece Hamilton, Veronica Darling, Charlotte Todd, Ryan Dinsmore, Elizabeth Darling, Nathan Versteeg, Brett Harding, Scott Eaton, and Wade Schefter are skating in the forward and defence positions. With 2 goalies and 10 skaters, spectators will be treated to lots of ice time for their favourite players!
While the Hornets came out on the small end of an 8-0 score tonight, the team showed some of the promise to come this season. We saw passing and shot attempts that were close to putting us on the scoreboard and many offensive rushes were interrupted for the other team by great hustle back on defence.
