Howick Township is comprised of a number of small hamlets and villages in the heart of rural Midwestern Ontario. Howick Minor Hockey Association (HMH) is a volunteer organization offering recreational minor hockey programs for all children ages 3-15, in divisions U5 thru U15. HAA is classed as a Local League centre and its participation includes OMHA and WOAA organizations where enrollment numbers permit.
HMH members hope to provide and focus on personal development, skills in teamwork, respect in sports and the development of leadership and athletic skills. These goals are easily obtainable through the strength of HMH volunteers.
Aims and Objectives as set out in our constitution:
- To foster the maximum opportunity for youth to participate in amateur sport within the boundaries set down by this constitution.
- To promote good sportsmanship and teamwork between all participants representing our centre in any hockey related activities with the aim to develop and improve one’s standards of physical, mental & social well-being.
- To sponsor and promote such athletic, social and other activities as may contribute to the moral and financial welfare of the association.
- To provide programs at the Development level, and the recreation level (Local)
