Tykes Update!!!
It has been great to see improvements from the Howick Hornet Tykes thus far. February 9th, we took on a very tough team from Walkerton.
At the practices to this point we have been focusing on skating and passing and it showed in our game on the 9th as we could keep up with Walkerton's best! It was great to see the kids advance the puck up to their teammates with great cross ice passing and even up the boards. We are starting to see some big time plays. The emphasis is changing to learn other positions, so it will be fun to see the improvements at the Clifford Cricket Tournament. Keep up the good work!! -Kevin Armstrong-
