Schedule & Results, Novice, 2013-2014 (Howick Minor Hockey)

Friday Night's Home Opener: Arriving at the Howick arena the kids had a very nice surprise. Their freshly redesigned uniforms had just arrived. The Hornets took that energy to the ice. It turned out to be a close checking with Minto not giving the Howick's offense much space. Great defensive play by Kyson Williams and Kaiden Holland and outstanding goaltending by Nick Foster kept Minto off the board. Our forwards Jason Burnett and Colby Reichard had a couple break aways but it was Kyson Williams finally broke the tie. We will keep working on being spread out and again more passing. Their great efforts made it a very exciting game. 2-0 to start the year. WOW!!! Thanks again to the Howick Optimist and a "Fan" for the donations for the socks and jerseys. They look great. It is going to a be very fun season!
