Tyke, 2012-2013 (Howick Minor Hockey)

Owen Sound Attack Tim Bit Mini Game put on by the Howick Hornet Tykes and Mites was a success Saturday....

    The first two games at the Clifford Tournament this past weekend had the kids sitting back waiting for the play to happen    

It has been great to see improvements from the Howick Hornet Tykes thus far. February 9th, we took on a very tough team from Walkerton.

The game scheduled for Sunday at 5 pm has been rescheduled to 4 pm. Also for anyone not at the game today the kids lunch was served after the game instead of being served before tomorrow's game.

Wow what a difference 3 games make!! The Howick Hornet Tykes have had 3 games now. The last was against West Grey (Durham and Ayton). With our improved skating and passing, we were able to compete and skate with their best players. With steller goaltending coming from Ally Reigling, Coby Reichard, and Cole Huigenbois, we kept their goals to a minimum. Our 1 on 1 battles are getting stronger and our kids are enjoying fighting for the puck. Our defense even made some big time plays by making several cross ice passes.
