Otters nip Mustangs
Mustangs travelled to Teeswater for a friday night match and skated away to a 3-2 loss. The Mustangs came out flat for the first period and

fell behind 2-0. After 2 periods the girls were down by 3. Sydney Pruden picked up a pass from Madison Jacklin in her end and went around three Otters firing the puck high stick side to cut the lead to two. Carly Kreller then broke in all alone speeding by the Otter D and hammering home a beauty goal to cut the lead to one. Syd Pruden pick up the assist. With the goal tender out and an extra attacker UM girls where all over the Otters with the goaltender making a couple of saves to perserve the win.

"It was a gritty comeback for the girls and they played great in the third.

Our D of Sarah, Madison, Landis and Madison again had a great game. Shelby made big saves for us. We need to play good for all 3 periods.

"2 disallowed goals against the Mustangs loomed large as either on would have resulted in a tie.
