Mustangs fall in Kincardine
The Mustangs traveled to Kincardine to play a very good "C" team and lost a 6-2 game. The Mustangs gave up 3 in the first and 3 in the second and were down 6-0 after the second. During the intermission UM girls were challanged to go out and win the third.
The Mustangs came back in the third with 2 goals and played their best hockey of the year.
Carly Kreller opened the third period scoring by firing a puck over the Kincardine goalie with an assist going to Landis King. Sydney Pruden hammered home her own rebound to out score the Kincardine team 2-0 in the third. Bailey Shiell and Carly Kreller picked up the assists.
"We played a great third period and the girls need to build on how we played and bring that type of game for all three periods."
Shelby played solid in net and our Defence played excellent in the third. Good job girls!
