Hornets end the Huskies winning streak!!!!!
The Hornets rolled into Durham for their last round robin game and Stung the Huskies.
It was a great day for a drive to Durham, the sun shining and the kids were pumped. I was amazed how the stands were packed with parents, grandparents and fans. As the players took to the ice the arena came to life with the fans cheering on their favorite players. The puck was dropped and the game was on. The first period was filled with some great shots on net by both teams but nobody could score. The goalies were going to make the player's earn their goals today. After the first period it was tied 0-0. The teams switched ends and it proved to be great for Kaiden H as he scored his first goal and gave the Hornets the lead 1-0. Way to go Kaiden! The Huskies answered back at the end of the period to tie 1-1. The third period started with Daniel P going end to end and scoring to make it a 2-1 game. The Hornets didn't stop there, after numerous shots, Mathew W shot the puck past the goalie to put the game out of reach. The Hornets won big in Durham today 3-1 way to go! We now turn our focus on the Elite Championship with the Elma Logan Wildcats. Lets invite everyone we can to get the stands full! Let's Gooooo Hornets!!!!!!!!!!
