Strong Performance
The midget girls used their speed to create ample scoring opportunities in this game, but were turned aside by a strong effort from the Goderich goaltender in a 3-1 defeat to the home team.
The only goal that the Upper Maitland squad could muster was when Hussey sent Emily Duck on her way with a long pass through the nuetral zone. Even though Duck was stopped on her original attempt, she continued to press until she pocketed the biscuit into the basket! Great effort Emily.
Bowman and Nelson also turned in excellent performances from the blueline corps.
The Mustangs were unable to take advantage of a long 5 on 3 power play in this game, eventhough they did manage a couple of chances, but without result.
