Day 2 in Milverton
Mustangs advanced to the tournament finals after a 2-0 win over Mildmay in order to play those arch rivals from Blyth/Brussels. After a valiant effort in the finals the Crusaders once again bested Upper Maitland 3-0.
In the final game of the round robin Goetz picked up an errant pass inside her blueline and weaved her way through a couple of Monarch players to unleash a rocket past the Mildmay guardian of the woven cage.
Then in the second period Brooke Senek pocketed Upper Maitland's second marker on a smart three way passing play between herself, Johnston and Hawthorne.
Erica Hemingway played outstanding between the pipes all weekend long earning one of the player of the game awards(game 3). Others were Johnston(game 1), Mehring(game 2) and Hussey(game 4).
