Teeswater was the venue Thursday night as South Bruce hosted Upper Maitland in a midget girls game that ended in a draw at 2-2.
Nelson and Charlebois worked over the South Bruce defence for a turnover that earned them assists on Hussey's goal in the first period. But by the break the game was knotted up at one.
In the third after South Bruce had created a scoring opportunity, Senek, Charlebois and Hussey broke up ice on a rush, but because this line had been defending for most of their shift once they gained centre Hussey fired a long shot in at the goaltender and all three turned and headed for a change. Only to see the Mustang bench erupt with a huge cheer as the puck had some how found it's way through the gaurdian of the woven tent, giving the Stangs the 2-1 lead.
After the tying goal by the home side an exciting finish unfolded before the cheering fans of both teams. Without success from either side the teams skated off with a point each.
