Hornet's Participate at Dave Taylor Memorial
This past weekend Atom rep Hornet's attended their first tournament this season. Even though they did not advance to either championship game they put forth a stellar effort in both games.
After falling to North Middlesex, a "C" centre team in the opener in which Jericho McNichol tallied the only Hornet marker with assists going to Kyson Williams and Matty Glaze. The Hornet's regrouped for game two against an Owen Sound Select team.
Kyson Williams scored Howick's goal in this contest with Colby Reichard and Gillian Dinsmore earning the helpers.
This contest went to the final buzzer before a winner was decided as the Atom Hornet's created numerous scoring opportunities right to the final horn.
Colby Reichard and Williams, at the buzzer, were denied by the Select keeper to preserve a 2-1 win for Owen Sound.
