View from the Manager
Another tough loss for the Atom team.
Viewing the game from the players bench was a totally new view for this manager.
Between trying to remember the time the kids went on the ice, encouraging the players and reminding them to play their positions makes for a hectic time.
Playing the Walkerton Capitals on Friday November 9th, was an educational experience for the players and the team executive. Bryson Bennett #3 played net for the first time this year. He made many great saves. Unfortunately, the Walkerton team had many strong players and Howick ended up losing 12 - 1. The team gave a good effort during the game. The lone goal was scored by Daniel Wood #6. Howick needed some intensity and focus. With power skating this week and two practices before their next game, hopefully we will be able to light some fire under the players before Saturday's game.
