Howick vs Mildmay
On Saturday December 1st, the Howick Hornets were playing Mildmay. The game was at 2:45 during Mildmay's hockey day. Many fans were present for the game and the kids were pumped and ready to play hard!
The first period was evenly matched. The players were playing their positions and many attempts were made on the Mildmay goalie. The first period saw 2 goals scored by the Mildmay team. Liam Gibson (20) received the only penalty of the period for tripping.
The second period saw more action happening for the teams. Howick did score one goal by Landis King (29) and it was assisted by Brad Reaman (73). Mildmay scored one goal in the second. It was a close game going into the third period.
Unfortunately, Howick did not have luck on their side. Many shots were taken on the Mildmay goalie. However, no goals were scored by Howick in the third. Several different players on the team were taking shots but none of them got by the Mildmay Goalie. Daniel Wood (6) received a penalty for Head Contact. The Hornets played very well during this game.
The final score was 6 - 1 for Mildmay.
