Howick Atoms headed to Durham on February 15, 2014 for their next playoff game.  The team was missing a few players so there were a few line changes. The team was ready to play after their big win at their last game.  This manager headed to the bench today to try and help with the defence.

West Grey and Howick both game out with lots of drive in the first period.  Howick managed to keep the play at West Grey's end for much of the first period.  Wade Schefter (11) managed to put the puck between the pipes and score with 2:51 left on the clock.  Ryan Dinsmore (14) assisted on the goal.  West Grey managed to score their first goal with 59.3 seconds left in the period.
The second period provided the fans with lots of action.  The teams were working hard to try and score the next goal.  The puck kept moving from end to end.  Liam Gibson (15) managed to take the puck and lift it up and scored with 6:00 minutes left on the clock.  The period ended 2-1 for Howick.
West Grey came out hard in the third period.  Howick managed to kill many penalties during the game.  West Grey did manage to score with 4:49 on the clock.  They quickly got another goal with 4:20 left on the clock.  Howick tried to even the score but they were unable to do so.  The game ended with West Grey winning 3-2.
