CONGRATULATIONS, Mustangs for finishing the season with a 4-2 victory over Georgian Shores in the Championship game of the Builders grouping.

The W.O.A.A. Yearend tournament began today in Markdale/Flesherton arena's. Upper Maitland played strong all day and have now earned themselves a place in the finals tomorrow morning in Markdale.

Upper Maitland used their speed and were consistently winning board battles for pucks against the Kanucks in Kincardine Sunday evening in a 3-1 victory.

The Mustangs were ready to play on this night in Huron Park against the South Huron Sabres. There was no slow start evident tonight. The Stangs battled hard to the end but were defeated 2-1.

St. Marys Rock arrived in Kurtzville Tuesday evening defeating the Mustangs 6-3 in Provincial playdowns. Solid goaltending from Robertson along with a more energetic game gave Upper Maitland opportunities for a positive result.
